ROUTESETTER:
Job Description + Expectations
Part-Time and Full-Time Setters should have a minimum of 1 year commercial routesetting experience. Competition setting experience is not required but preferred. All routesetter should be able to efficiently set a variety of climbs, effectively help forerun climbs, offer and receive constructive feedback, and help maintain a positive work environment.
Routesetters should have a knowledge and understanding of the variety of individuals climbing at the gym. Whether it be children, adults, or seniors, the routesetting team is required to understand and meet the needs of the gym’s demographic. Routesetters are responsible for setting creative and challenging climbs that meet our quality and safety standards for everyone who steps foot into the gym. As part of the setting team, all routesetters should participate in the mentorship of individuals in Setter Support roles or Apprentice Routesetter roles.
A consistent year-round schedule is preferred.
Qualifications
Understand and adhere to all safety guidelines laid out by the Head Setter
PPE
Ladder safety
Rope/Work at height safety
Power tool usage and safety
Ability to lift at least 40lbs or more with help
Ability to communicate one-on-one or in a group setting
Able to give and take constructive criticism
Willing to ask questions for clarification
Willingness to learn new skills and fine-tune existing skills
Approach work with a positive attitude and an open mindset
Able to consistently set 4+ quality boulders or 2 quality top rope routes or 1-2 quality lead routes during a shift
Compensation
Starting pay $18-$22/hr, depending on experience and skill level. Pay increases available after yearly reviews

YOUTH PROGRAMS COORDINATOR:
Job Description + Expectations
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Youth Programs Coordinator to lead and support our youth climbing programs. This part-time role is ideal for someone passionate about rock climbing and youth development who enjoys working with kids and parents in a fast-paced, community-oriented environment.
Our Youth Programs Coordinator is responsible for overseeing program operations and development, as well as managing and training youth programs staff. Our YPC will work directly with management to oversee our seasonal after school 10-week programs for kids ages 3-15, summer camps, school league, and kids fun days.
Consistent, year round availability is expected.
Qualifications
Experience coordinating youth programs, preferably in a rock climbing or other recreational setting
Supervisory or staff management experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with Rock Gym Pro or similar program management software
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Enthusiasm for climbing and youth development
Experience writing curriculum or lesson plans
Preferred:
CPR/First Aid Certification
Safesport Certification
Compensation
Starting pay $20-$22/hr, depending on experience and qualifications
